GP14 World Championships – NSC Shines at Royal North! NSC were out in force at the GP14 Worlds last week, with more boats and sailors than any other club. Thanks to Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club for running the event so well, as well as race management and those who volunteered to help! Congratulations also to everyone who took part — it was a tough week with long days on the water, but we certainly had some results worth celebrating. • Daniel Nelson (Crewing for Ross Kearney of RNIYC ) – 6th overall • Adam & Emily Torrens – 16th overall – 4th in Youth Championship – 2 points off 3rd place! • Alistair Duffin & Andrew Corkill – 25th Overall – Top ten finish in race 3 – 3rd in Ton Up Trophy! • Curly Morris & Leah Pedersen (Sailing under EABC) - 35th Overall • Adam Nelson (Crewing for Brian Morrison of Lough Erne YC) - 39th overall – Won race 8! 10th in Silver • Steven & Johnny Nelson – 40th Overall • Jennifer Bryce & William Primrose – 57th Overall – 8th in Bronze • Michael Cox & Rachel Stewart – 65th Overall – 21st in Silver • Claire Cromie & Graham McCormack – 79rd Overall – 25th in Bronze • John Borne & Andrew Norris – 81st Overall – 27th in Bronze |
