As part of gearing up for the start of the season we held a very well attended Marine Radio SRC course at the weekend. Knowing how to use a VHF set correctly can be a life saver during an emergency. So, vital skills learnt and we had passes all round! Thanks to RG from Safer Waters for coming along to run this for us.For our 60th anniversary in 2024, NSC member David Corkill has compiled a fantastic reel from the many superb videos he has taken over the last 10 years. It contains just under 30 clips and runs to nearly two hours, covering windsurfing, GP14 events, Regattas, and foiling! Highlights would include:
Our Christmas Cheer event today was the perfect way to wrap up the year at NSC. Members with their friends and families, enjoyed catching up over Mark's delicious food, making it a really pleasant get-together. Big thanks to the Social Committee for organising! Join us for some festive fun on Sunday 8th December! Email Dee with any dietary requirements.  Perfect conditions today for the last club race of the NSC Autumn Series. Six boats, 12 sailors and a few sneaky gusts to keep our rescue team busy! Sail training will continue through the winter, so expect a few more of these glorious NSC sunsets! Congratulations to everybody who represented NSC at the 2024 GP14 World Championships at Plas Heli in Wales! Eighty five boats competed in the week long event, which concluded on Saturday.
 This year's GP14 Championship of Ireland at NSC was one to remember with more 45 boats registered, representing over 20 clubs, and sailing on each of the 3 days allowed all 8 races to be completed. Thanks to all of our club members who pitched in, the race management team, our sponsors, and the visiting crews for making the event a great success!

The trainers, brought over from Cornwall and North Wales, were blown away at how good a venue NSC is, and we can't wait to start running courses with our newly qualified instructors!
