December Coronavirus Restrictions

Following the latest Coronavirus restrictions announced by the Northern Ireland Executive, the RYA NI have today issued their interpretation of what these mean for its affiliated clubs. The guidance from the RYA NI can be found here. Essentially, from 26th December onwards the club, like all other outdoors sports facilities, will have to close, with the only exception being for any essential boat maintenance. This period of closure is currently planned for 6 weeks, with a review after 4 weeks. The Commodore kindly requests that all members observe these current and any future restrictions. Let us hope that will the on going roll out of the vaccine, that by the time the season starts we will be in a position to resume normal levels of activity.
